Joining the ranks of pet-friendly hotels in Thailand, four properties under Centara Hotels & Resorts have adopted pet-friendly policies for pawrents who wish to vacay with their pets.
Guests can have pet-friendly stays with no weight restrictions in Centara Korat, Centara Ubon, Centara Udon and soon-to-open Centara Ayutthaya. This initiativeis expected to be implemented in selected properties in the future.
This is an obvious response to the growing demand from the burgeoning community of pet lovers but Centara has gone one step further by claiming to be the first to remove weight restrictions on pets. Cafes and restaurants at these four properties also become pet-friendly.
Kevin Deydier De Pierrefeu, area general manager in charge of these four properties, said, “As a devoted pet owner myself, I understand the boundless affection we hold for our furry companions. By eliminating weight restrictions, we lead as the first hotels in Thailand’s Northeast and North regions to wholeheartedly support pet owners, championing our belief that companionship transcends weight or breed. Our mission is seamless travel for all pet owners and their beloved fur babies, allowing guests to experience Thailand’s exotic beauty with the ones they love”.
The catch is that a minimum of B500 surcharge will be applied per pet or B600 per two pets. Up to two pets are allowed per room. Of course, while your dogs and cats are in hotel common areas, they must be on leashes and you must be mindful of them. Your reptile must be kept in their enclosures. All kinds of pets are welcome but it’s wise to check with the hotels beforehand.
The participating properties are also launching indoor and outdoor pet-friendly cafés and restaurants for local pet owners and their guests, with exciting menus specially crafted for animals, featuring delights such as Beef bowl and Grilled chicken and liver pasta.
