Following the official unveiling of the collection in Feb with an exclusive event in Paris, Zegna and The Elder Statesman have unveiled their new campaign, starring Spanish-German actor Daniel Brühl. Based on a mutual devotion to craft, material excellence and master craftspeople, as well as synchronisation with nature, Zegna x The Elder Statesman is a collection that expands horizons and represents a merging of two worlds. The Italian luxury fashion brand is reimagined in vibrant colours, off-kilter patterns, rich textures and relaxed cuts. The announcement of Brühl as the official face of the campaign sees him as the latest to join Zegna’s 232 Community of global creatives, which includes Global Ambassadors Mads Mikkelsen, Leo Wu and Kieran Culkin. Film series / Amari Watergate Bangkok Hotel / Sept 16

The third film in the hotel film series will be Turkish movie Nadide Hayat (A Unique Life) and will be screened on Sept 16 at 5.30pm. The film is being sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye and centres on Nadide, who wonders what to do with her life, when she loses her husband. Her family suggest many alternatives, which mostly centre on her being home-bound. That’s when the energetic Nadide decides to re-join college. W Koh Samui is hosting the “Hops Harvest At Woobar” beer festival extravaganza that promises to delight the senses and ignite the spirit. SF+ Unlimited / SF Cinemas / Until Sept 24

Like a prelude to Halloween, this month sees a slew of horror releases for those who love to be spooked. The Nun II, the new addition to The Conjuring universe, and Talk To Me, A24’s highest-grossing horror pic, hit Thai cinemas yesterday. While Sleep, a South Korean black comedy horror, will be released on Sept 14. On Sept 21, three horror films from three countries will be out. They are Gary Shore’s Haunting Of The Queen Mary, Ju-On director Takashi Shimizu’s Immersion and Thitipan Raksasat’s Kumarn. Khong-Kaek, a horror about Jinn in the southern provinces of Thailand, will cap off the spooking train on Sept 28. If you’re brave enough to watch them all, you can opt for an unlimited pass to see all-you-can-watch movies for 30 days.
