CentralWorld further solidifies its status as a foodie playground with the grand opening of the first Thai and Southeast Asian branch of the globally renowned restaurant brand, The Cheesecake Factory.
The first Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Thailand officially opens today, following a pop-up store which ran for six days in November.
With more than 45 years of serving its namesake cake and big-portion international delights, the iconic American restaurant occupies a prominent space of approximately 8,000ft² on the first floor, Zone I, adjacent to the front courtyard of the shopping centre.
In 1978, The Cheesecake Factory opened its first branch in Beverly Hills, California. Known globally for its diverse menu, generous portions, distinctive decor, and legendary desserts, The Cheesecake Factory has established itself as an international phenomenon. Maxim’s Caterers Limited, based in Hong Kong, operates the restaurant under a licensing agreement with The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated. It has expanded to more than 200 branches worldwide, captivating diners with its unique offerings and namesake desserts.
The new restaurant boasts more than 200 indoor seats and an additional 50 seats on the outdoor terrace. The design is striking, featuring imported limestone floors, special patterned steel columns and modern mood lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for an enjoyable and authentic dining experience. It also boasts a local mascot in the form of an elephant wearing a chaba flower on its ear.
From its expansive menu of more than 200 freshly prepared dishes, featuring high-quality ingredients, customers can indulge in the renowned Creamy original cheesecake and a variety of special desserts. The menu spans various cuisines, including Western, Korean, Indian, Thai, and more, offering something for every palate. The other highlights include Glamburgers, seafood, steaks and superfoods salads.
