Two decades of Suqqu is marked by a make-up collection based on the theme "Spectrum Of Beauty".
The limited editions were unveiled at the 20th anniversary celebrations held recently at Rosewood Bangkok’s ballroom. A make-up demonstration further showed how to create a gorgeous look with the commemorative items.
Two versions of the Eye & Blush Compact, Toukougasane and Yumesakikou differ in the orange and pink spectrum. The palette combines four eyeshadows and a blusher with the 20th anniversary logo.
The Face Compacts house a powder, whose embossed motif depicts a trajectory of lights to express the theme.
The three versions contain golden, pink or white pearls for a natural, dewy or translucent glow. The finishing powder can also be used to highlight cheeks, forehead and bridge of the nose or brighten skin under the eyes.
Japanese aesthetics and flora of the four seasons inspire the 20th Anniversary Lip Kit.
Spring is celebrated by Comfort Lip Fluid Fog with a soft texture and cherry-plum colour. Treatment Wrapping Lip is also a liquid formula with a striking hydrangea shade to represent summer.
The shade of the sheer matte lipstick recalls autumnal foliage while the moisture-rich lipstick is in a shimmering deep red, evoking snow-covered camellia in winter.
Suqqu refers to the Japanese expression of “a figure rising to full height”, expressing renewal, radiance and grace with a dignified and independent spirit.
The Japanese brand debuted in 2003 with its Gankin Massage designed to work around bone structure and on facial muscles while improving lymph flow and circulation for glowing skin.
The product portfolio now includes skincare, base and colour make-up, as well as brushes and eyelash curler.
